The City of Charleston today announced the entertainment lineup for the 2025 Live on the Levee, presented by Moses Auto Group. This year’s concert series brings a fresh spin with select performances happening in conjunction with key events—including the USA Cycling Pro Road National Championships, FestivALL, and The Great Race—and featuring community favorites: Veterans Night and Back to School Night. The free concert series kicks off on May 23, 2025 on the Schoenbaum Stage at Haddad Riverfront Park and ends August 1, 2025.
The City of Charleston Office of Public Art—joined by Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin, the Briar Hills Garden Club, and Jonathan Cox—dedicated the Riverflow sculpture at City Center at Slack Plaza. The installation celebrates the power of public art and the ongoing collaboration to create spaces that are welcoming, vibrant, and reflective of our community.
The City of Charleston will host its final Here to Serve community meeting at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Mathes Hall on Thursday, May 1, 2025. In addition, Mayor Goodwin and members of the City Team will continue door-to-door outreach through Charleston Walks, speaking directly with neighbors and gathering input.
The City of Charleston Office of Public Art recognized the winners of the 2025 Charleston Youth Art Month Juried Exhibition during an awards ceremony held at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. Selected from among 286 submitted pieces, the winning artworks stood out for their originality, creativity, overall design, and composition.
