TAYLOR’S STORY TO HEADLINE BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT AT LIVE ON THE LEVEE THIS FRIDAY

Live on the Levee, presented by Moses Auto Group, will wrap up its 22nd season this Friday with Taylor’s Story headlining Back to School Night at the Schoenbaum Stage at Haddad Riverfront Park. Special guest DJEJ will open the evening.  

Music begins at 6:30 p.m., with the headliner taking the stage at 8 p.m. Food and beverage vendors will be on-site throughout the evening. This week’s 50/50 drawing will benefit the Kanawha Valley Collective.  

In addition to live music, this week’s Live on the Levee will celebrate the upcoming school year with Back-to-School Night from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thanks to the support of community partners, families can enjoy inflatables, games, face painting, friendship bracelet making, a foam machine, and more. Free backpacks and school supplies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. 

TRAFFIC IMPACTS  

Kanawha Boulevard, from Clendenin Street to Capitol Street will be closed beginning at 2 p.m. and will re-open at 11 p.m. 

The unit blocks (Kanawha Boulevard to Virginia Street) of Truslow Street, Goshorn Street, Court Street, Laidley Street, and Summers Street will be accessible to local traffic only.

PARKING 

Free parking will be available at Shanklin Parking Garage (503 Virginia Street) after 5 p.m.  

Public parking will not be available on the unit blocks (Kanawha Boulevard to Virginia Street) of Court Street, Laidley Street, and Summers Street.

While every effort is made to keep the show going, performances may be delayed, relocated, or canceled due to severe weather or unsafe conditions. Any schedule changes, venue updates, or event information will be shared on the official Live on the Levee social media channels.
