CHARLESTON PARKS AND RECREATION TO HOST URBAN FISHING
(Charleston, W.Va.) – The City of Charleston Parks and Recreation Department will host Urban Fishing on Saturday, March 7, and Sunday March 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the North Charleston Community Center, offering families and youth an opportunity to experience fishing in an accessible, neighborhood setting.
The event is designed to introduce participants to fishing and provide hands-on experience in a relaxed, outdoor environment. Participants should bring their own fishing pole, bait, net, and a bucket if they plan to take home their catch.
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Urban Fishing is part of Charleston Parks and Recreation’s ongoing efforts to provide engaging, low-barrier recreational experiences that connect residents with outdoor activities close to home.
