LIVE ON THE LEVEE TO MOVE TO MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM DUE TO HEAT

The Live on the Levee concert scheduled for Friday, July 19 will move to the Municipal Auditorium due to this weekend’s excessive heat warning.

Beginning at 6:30 p.m., opener Sean Whiting will take the stage. This Americana singer-songwriter draws from influences like Chris Stapleton, Loretta Lynn and Turnpike Troubadours to play honky-tonk-bent country music.

Headliner Creek Don’t Rise will play beginning at 7:30 p.m. Creek Don't Rise is an eclectic band hailing from the mountains of West Virginia and Kentucky. Their soulful, blues inspired music takes influence from their native Appalachia, spanning across country, blues, soul and rock n’ roll.

The concert will be free, and seating is on a first come, first served basis. Parking will be free in all city garages throughout the weekend. There will be concessions and adult beverages available for purchase at the Municipal Auditorium. No outside beverages or food are permitted.
