CITY OFFICES TO BE CLOSED DECEMBER 25-26 AND JANUARY 1-2

(Charleston, W. Va.) – Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin today announced City of Charleston offices will be closed Monday, December 25 to Tuesday, December 26, 2023 and Monday, January 1 to Tuesday, January 2, 2024 for the holidays. Essential personnel – including police, fire, and refuse – will report as scheduled.

City of Charleston refuse and recycling collection will be on regular schedule the weeks of Christmas (December 24 – 30) and New Year’s Day (December 31 – January 6). For more information about refuse and recycling collection, please call 304.348.6850.
