SAVE THE DATES: 2025 TEAM UP TO CLEAN UP

(Charleston, W. Va.) – The Spring 2025 Team Up to Clean Up events will take place on April 12 and May 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Local businesses, organizations, and members of the community are encouraged to join the City to clean and beautify Charleston. 

"Team Up to Clean Up is an opportunity for neighbors, businesses, and organizations to join forces with our City Team as we roll up our sleeves and make our city shine,” said Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin. “Together, with shared purpose and energy, we are not only cleaning and beautifying our Capital City but also strengthening our community and fostering a deeper sense of pride and connection.”  

Team Up to Clean Up Dates & Info 
April 12: West Side, North Charleston, Bigley Avenue Area 
Supply pickup location: KRT Parking Lot, 441-449 Stockton Street   

May 3: South Hills, East End, Kanawha City, Downtown 
Supply pickup location: Kanawha City Piggly Wiggly, Parking Lot, 5003 MacCorkle Avenue SE 
Supply pickup location: George Washington High School, 1522 Tennis Club Road  

Clean up supplies, T-shirts, snacks, and water will be provided.  Anyone who has a litter picker or gloves from a previous cleanup is encouraged to bring them as the City has a limited supply of pickers and gloves.  

Individuals and groups that are interested in participating are encouraged to complete the online form which includes the Volunteer Waiver and Release Form in advance of the Team Up to Clean Up events. Paper forms will be available at the designated supply pick-up location.
