LIVE ON THE LEVEE NIGHT 7 MOVING INDOORS DUE TO FORECAST
(Charleston, W.Va.) – Due to forecasted weather conditions, this week's Live on the Levee, presented by Moses Auto Group, will move indoors to the Charleston Theater at the Convention Center on Friday, July 10. Cris Jacobs will headline the evening, with special guests The Local Honeys opening the show.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Enter from Quarrier Street.
Music begins at 6:30 p.m., with the headliner taking the stage at 8 p.m.
This week’s 50/50 drawing will benefit Covenant House.
While every effort is made to host Live on the Levee outdoors at Haddad Riverfront Park — where the riverfront atmosphere is part of the experience — weather conditions can sometimes make adjustments necessary. With heavy rain expected throughout the day, and after consultation with local meteorologists, the decision was made to move the event indoors so the community can still enjoy free live music.
Food and beverage information: The Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center is a licensed establishment; therefore, outside food and beverages are not permitted. Concessions will be available inside the venue and our local food vendors are permitted to set up just outside the Theater entry.
Parking information: Parking is available in the Quarrier Street parking garage, the nearby Municipal Auditorium lot, as well as other nearby lots and garages. Parking fees may apply.
Traffic Note: Although Live on the Levee will be moving indoors, the Kanawha Boulevard closure, from Clendenin Street to Capitol Street, will remain in place through the Charleston Sternwheel Regatta. The closure will extend to Hale Street later in the evening.
Additional event updates will continue to be shared through the official Live on the Levee social media channels.
