Live on the Levee to Launch 17th Season

The City of Charleston is excited to announce the 17th season of Live on the Levee at Haddad Riverfront Park. This free concert series will begin Friday, July 9 and continue for 13 weeks—concluding October 1. This year’s lineup includes an array of musical styles – from rhythm and blues and country to rock and heavy metal.

 

“The City of Charleston is excited for the return of Live on the Levee after the cancelation of last year’s season,” said Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin. “We will showcase great local and regional talent, local food and retail vendors. Thank you to all of the folks that help support Live on the Levee.”

 

Headlining attractions for the 2021 Live on the Levee season include The Kentucky Headhunters, Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr., Second Helping: The American Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Show and Byzantine.

 

The non-profit partners this year include Roark Sullivan Lifeway Center, YWCA’s Sojourners Shelter, Covenant House, the Religious Coalition for Community Renewals’ Samaritan Inn and Manna Meal.
