ALL CITY POOLS TO OPEN SATURDAY, MAY 25

(Charleston, W. Va.) –The City of Charleston Parks and Recreation Department announced all city pools will open Saturday, May 25, 2024. Entrance to city pools is free.

“We are excited to start another pool season for the City of Charleston,” said Rashaun Poore, Director of Parks and Recreation. “One of the most exciting parts of pool season is seeing some of our community center kids becoming a part of our team by working some of our seasonal jobs. When we see this transition happening, we know we are doing something right!”

City pools provide approximately 55 summer jobs – including lifeguards, pool managers, and concession workers.
