MILLING/PAVING NOTICE: for July 7, 2026

WV Paving will be milling and paving the following streets.
Operations will begin at 6:30 AM and will continue to 6:30 PM.

Paving

  • Gordon Drive, from Churchill to Castlegate
  • Churchill Drive, from Churchill Circle to Maefair

Milling

Motorists should use caution when traveling in this area.  Minor delays may be experienced.  Please follow directions of flag persons in newly paved areas.  Take caution not to drive onto newly paved streets.  Hot asphalt may damage vehicles.  Parked vehicles must be removed from the street by 6:30 a.m.  Please do not park on newly paved streets as car wheels may leave depressions in the asphalt which will hold water.  Residents will receive a paving notice telling them that paving will occur within the next 24 hours barring inclement weather.  It is not possible to predict exactly what time a work crew will be on a particular street.  Any questions concerning this work can be directed to the City Engineer’s Office at 348-8106

The 100 block of Summers Street (by Summit Community Bank) will be temporarily closed to accommodate equipment and material removal from a rooftop work site.
