City Offices Closed for Upcoming Holidays

City of Charleston offices will be closed Thursday, December 24, Friday, December 25, Thursday, December 31 and Friday, January 1, in observance of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Police and fire will report as scheduled.

Refuse and recycling collection will take place on an alternative schedule both weeks. There will be no refuse collection on Friday, December 25 or Friday, January 1 — moving regular pick-up forward by 1 day.
