MAYOR TO DEDICATE NEW FIRE STATION #3

Charleston’s new Fire Station #3 has been rebuilt on the same location as the old station, which had structural issues that forced removal of the ambulance and EMS crew from the old fire station in 2004.  The newly rebuilt fire station restores ambulance/EMS coverage as well as fire engine coverage to that location for the first time since February 2016.   The reconstruction project cost $1.3 million.

Monday, August 13, 2018:

Event:                   Charleston Mayor Danny Jones, Fire Chief Rob Sutler and other city officials will cut the ribbon the newly rebuilt fire station serving the South Hills of Charleston.

Time:                    11:00 a.m.

Location:             822 Oakwood Road, Charleston, WV 25314

Because parking is limited on the site, a CFD van will serve as a shuttle between the park and ride on Cantley Drive and Fire Station #3.
