Fishin' for the Mission | April 5 10am, April 6 1pm
Join Charleston Parks and Recreation at Cato Park and North Charleston Community Center, Thursday April 5th (Cato) and Friday, April 6th (North Charleston), for a day of fishing fun! We have trout left over from our Fishing Rodeo and need your sportsman skills to retrieve them. These fish have a great purpose, as they are getting donated to the Union Mission. Come out for fishin’ fun and to enjoy these activities:
• Learn how to build a ‘water bottle’ spin caster for practicing at home
• Different types of casting methods
• How to tie your basic hook knots
• Picking the perfect fishing spot
• Fish identification games and more
