CITY OF CHARLESTON BUILDINGS/FACILITIES TO BE CLOSED TUESDAY, JANUARY 7, 2025 DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER

(Charleston, W. Va.) – Due to continued inclement weather, all City of Charleston buildings/facilities—including City Hall and the City Service Center, Parks and Recreation centers, Municipal Court, and other administrative offices—will be closed Tuesday, January 7, 2025.  

Police, fire, and public works will report according to the direction provided by their leadership/director. All other city staff will work remotely. Municipal Court will reconvene on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.   

Tomorrow’s trash pick-up (Tuesday, January 7, 2025) will be moved to Saturday, January 11, 2025.  Wednesday – Friday (January 8 – 10, 2025) trash pick-up will be on normal schedule.
