CITY OF CHARLESTON SEEKS PUBLIC INPUT FOR SAFE STREETS & ROADS FOR ALL COMPREHENSIVE SAFETY ACTION PLAN

(Charleston, W.Va.) – The City of Charleston is inviting residents, commuters, business owners, and visitors to help shape the future of transportation safety by participating in a community survey as part of the City's Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Comprehensive Safety Action Plan.

Funded through the U.S. Department of Transportation's Safe Streets and Roads for All program, the Comprehensive Safety Action Plan will identify strategies to reduce traffic crash-related fatalities and serious injuries while creating safer, more accessible streets for everyone who lives, works, and travels in Charleston.

The survey is anonymous and takes only a few minutes to complete. Responses will help identify transportation safety priorities and inform recommendations included in the Comprehensive Safety Action Plan.  

Community members are encouraged to complete the survey by August 18, 2026.
