Mayor Goodwin Launches SEE 33 Vlog Series
Mayor Goodwin today launched SEE 33, a new vlog series presented by the City of Charleston, which showcases the Capital City’s arts, history and people. The name, SEE 33, is a nod to Charleston being 33 square miles.
“We had planned to wait until summer to present SEE 33. But, during this time when we could all use a little joy and hope, we felt we should launch this series to feel a bit more connected with our community,” said Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin. “We live in an amazing city with amazing people who create amazing things. I’m excited to be able to share just a small part of this with you.”
At the end of the series, and when it is safe to do so, the first 33 vlogs will be transformed into a scavenger hunt so that folks can explore Charleston and see these places firsthand.
Vlogs will be uploaded weekly to https://bit.ly/2WnvIvA.
The SEE 33 vlog series is made possible through the collaborative efforts of the City of Charleston and many community members who have offered their time and talents.
NOTE: SEE 33 video clips were filmed while maintaining social distancing and with no more than three individuals present during filming. Some SEE 33 video clips were filmed prior to the CDC’s recommendation regarding the use of cloth face coverings.
