Walk for Freedom
On Saturday, October 20th we will join the tens of thousands all over the world to combat modern-day slavery as we Walk for Freedom. Walk for Freedom was started by A21, a global anti-trafficking organization that provides awareness and prevention education and works closely with law enforcement to rescue human trafficking victims around the world. The Walk will kick off at Haddad Riverfront Park at 9am. We will walk to the Capitol building and back while carrying signs with facts about Human Trafficking. This is roughly a 5k in distance. If you do not feel physically able to make that distance but would like to show up and support freedom, please do! You can register individually or as a team and manage your fundraising at A21.org/charleston. There is no cost to register and all ages are welcome. Onsite registration will be available at 8am. If you have any questions please message our facebook @WFFCWV or email julianneyacovone@yahoo.com.
